Your barndominium shell is framed and erected by New River's own crew to North Carolina wind code — not a shipped kit assembled by whoever happens to be available that week.
Barndominium framing in eastern North Carolina has to hold up, and that means built to NC wind code by people who know what they're doing. New River Barndominiums frames and erects barndominium shells as part of the full turnkey build, so the structure is solid before a single interior wall goes in.
New River is not a kit dealer. Josh does not ship you steel to assemble yourself. The framing is done by the crew, as part of the turnkey process, so the shell goes up correctly and county inspections go smoothly.

Do you sell barndominium kits or do you build them?
We build them. New River Barndominiums is a builder, not a kit dealer. We do not ship steel for you to assemble. The crew handles framing and erection as part of the full turnkey build.
Are your barndominiums built to North Carolina code?
Yes. Every build is done to North Carolina wind code and permitted through the local county. Work is performed under a licensed and insured NC general contractor.
Who builds the shell, and are they insured?
